Miss USA: Scandalous Stripper Pictures

Rima Fakih had the best day of her life yesterday: she was crowned Miss USA 2010. She accomplished the ultimate pageant dream: being crowned the best of the best in the United States.

Rima is the first Arab-American Miss USA: a title of honor and a place in the history books.

Today, she's probably hiding her face in her hands. One day after she was crowned Miss USA, Rima Fakih appears in pictures splashed all over the internet. These pictures show Rima participating in a "Stripper 101" competition for a radio station in her hometown of Dearborn, Michigan.

Rima's photos pale in comparison to the pageant's past issues. The scandal of winner of Miss USA 2009, Carrie Prejean? Topless photos and a sex tape. While Donald Trump let Prejean continue to hold the title, she then provoked the pageant officials by not showing up to events and making inflammatory remarks. So, Rima may be the first Arab-American Miss USA, but she certainly isn't the first Miss USA to deal with scandal after receiving the crown.

It's also important to note that Rima Fakih stays clothed in the scandal photos. In fact, her short shorts, cami and high heeled shoes (Lucite?) are less revealing than the swimwear that appears in the Miss USA competition in the first place.

Rima's indiscretion is minor in comparison to Prejean's. If the past is any indication of what Mr. Trump will do, Rima Fakih will keep her title and crown, and go on with her reign as long as she upholds the title with dignity from here on out and no more scandals come out.

In fact, Rima shouldn't even be embarrassed. After Carrie Prejean's drama and scandal, the American public could probably care less about some pictures of a beauty queen dancing like a stripper. It's just a relief to have a girl who's not a hypocritical drama queen holding the crown. In fact, her fellow Michigan residents have already downplayed the scandal and continue supporting her.

For what it's worth, Rima won the "Stripper 101" contest. Her prizes included a stripper pole for home use along with adult toys, gift cards and jewelry.

We all make mistakes: at least Rima benefited from hers, and in reality, it could have been far worse.
