Missing Persons from Kansas

Have You Seen Them?

Chris M. Carmichael
Small steps can lead to great things. We can all make a positive difference for families of missing persons this year by keeping missing persons' cases in the public eye. All it takes is a moment of our time and a bit of extra awareness.

There is always hope that someone, somewhere has seen a missing child or adult and will come forth with information. Some missing persons make the news for a while, but then later are forgotten by most except for their family and the investigators on the case. You can help the missing and their families right now by viewing the information here and on the website provided at the end of the article.

If you have any information regarding these missing persons please call 1-800-THE- LOST

Yes, Jackie Hay was abducted in 1981 when she was 5 (according the the website statistics) and would be nearly 32 right now. I hope people take a moment to look at all the photos and cases in the link I provided. I believe there is always a chance to find out what happened, no matter how long it has been

And, Jackie Hay, from Topeka, about 1980 or so. It haunts me; I was so upset, I made my dad take us to one of the search parties. She's still gone.

Thank you very much for your comments and for your awareness. All through the Holidays, Missing persons--from all over-- and their families have been on my mind. A LOT of people, children and adults, go missing every year. Some are found, but many remain missing.
It was not easy to decide which to mention specifically in this article-- each of the missing deserves acknowledgement.
