Missouri Town in Blue Springs, MO is a fun place to visit. It seems like something special is always going on. That's good for area residents and visitors alike. They are now making preparations for their Fall Festival.

HIGHLIGHTS:
Performances by dancers and musicians that would have taken place in the 1800's
A game, arts and crafts area for children
Period foods in the food court
A special demonstration of how to make sorghum
And while you're there spend some time visiting the other historical structures such as the barn, school house, stable and church on the premises.
I can say from experience that this would be an excellent way to spend part of your autumn weekend. It's family fun at its best.
