Mitt Romney: Unoriginal Candidate

Jeffrey Moss
Governor Mitt Romney, one of the Republican candidates for President, has stolen several phrases from his opponents. It all started when he stole Barack Obama's campaign slogan of "Change Begins With Us" because he couldn't think of any slogans on his own. As soon as Obama announced his campaign slogan of Change You Can Believe In, Romney jumped right on it by modifying it to Change Begins With Us." Following that, Romney mimicked several of his opponents during debates verbatim.

Barack Obama announced that his campaign slogan was Change You Can Believe In and then Romney jumped right on it and modified it to Change Begins With Us. This shows that Romney can't think of his own ideas for campaign slogans or responses to questions that are asked to him about his stance on certain issues. I was disgusted that Romney had to use his opponents' ideas to influence his answers to questions.

When Senator John McCain answered a question about Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, Romney gave the same answer as McCain did. This just displays the continued unoriginality of Mitt Romney and his campaign. Clearly the he and those running his campaign are all incompetent and can't be trusted with the responsibility of running our country. If the country is left in his hands, Romney will destroy the well-being of our country and the economy.

I fear that our country will be worse than it is in right now with Bush in office if Romney is elected. He does not deserve the Republican nomination nor does he deserve to be elected as President of the United States. Romney is incapable of forming an original thought and would most likely steal more ideas from his opposition in Washington if he were elected as President. I really hope that John McCain and Mike Huckabee force Romney out of the race so that he will not have the chance to run our country and destroy the nation that the men and women of our military have fought to protect.

Romney clearly can't think for himself and as such should not even be in the race for the White House. If he screwed reeked havoc on the state of Massachusetts as their governor, what makes him think that he will do any better as President? If he messed up once, he'll mess up again. History has a way of repeating itself in some situations and Romney's record speaks for itself. Half of the time, you have to wonder if he even knows what he is talking about when he speaks.
