America knows whats going on. I don't understand where John McCain and his supporters are coming from. The Republican Party is desperate and sad. They are putting this man who has been proven to do anything in his bid for President to win, up in the American peoples face and saying THIS man will do whats right for you. THEY know he is lying, cheating and stealing to win, but they continue to go along for the sake of the win.
Ronald Reagan was one of our greatest Presidents. Whether you are Republican or Democrat, it is hard to dispute what Reagan did for America. He stood up for us and was concerned and brought back our spirit of being Americans.
John McCain has been told by America, through the media, YOU ARE LYING! Sarah Palin is LYING! STOP! Tell us the truth. Yet he continues to spend the money his supporters gave him to look stupid.
Now, Republicans are starting to call him out. Mitt Romney, the Mormon nobody wanted, called him out. To think, we didn't think he was honest and honorable. We thought the POW kid was honest. We thought hockey mom, Sarah Palin was honest. Wrong. Turns out Mitt Romney is a man of honor and integrity. He said John McCain knew he was not being honest and had been told that, yet he continued to do it. So he would just have to deal with it when the blows came back around. What were we thinking America? Why did Mitt Romney lose our votes? Was it really the Mormon issue? How sad.
Now we have John McCain whose greatest claim to fame is his POW experience. He has had a few moments since, but very few. We also have Sarah Palin who continues to spout her accomplishments, only we continue to find out that most of her story is a lie.
Now we are finding that not only did she not stop the "Bridge To Nowhere" but she did not really visit Iraq. She was stopped at the border checkpoint. She also only gassed up in Ireland. Never left the plane. She won't cooperate with "Troopergate" although she was originally anxious to get it done. She is backpeddling so fast, she can't keep up with the pace.
The Republican Party is coming unraveled. I feel many have discovered that no matter how much lipstick you put on that pig, you can't dress it up any more. Whether we are talking Pig McCain or Pig Palin, it is still a No Good Self Serving PIG.....
I would hope that many more Republicans are going to find the guts to stand up like Mitt Romney. Bravo for you Mitt. You are a man of honor and integrity. Please run again in the future. Maybe America won't be so biased. Maybe if Republicans could see that now, they would vote for Obama. Prejudice will be the downfall of America.
God Bless America and Real Americans Like Mitt Romney who still care about the truth and America....

The Republican party needs to divorce itself from its right-wing, fundamentalist base. The fundamentalist mind sings the praises of America and democracy, then works feverishly to bury the freedoms of anyone who doesn't follow the same, narrow path. The fundamentalist mind would remove a woman's reproductive right to choose, continue to treat homosexuals as second class citizens, and remove real science from our classrooms...walking toward the past and away from the future. During the past several years we've seen how divisive this holier than thow hypocrisy has been.
IContinued)...but that's where it should start. And, to be viable again, the GOP needs to find a way to reconcile with the young bloods who are now flocking to the Libertaran banner. While some of their doctrine seems "far out," a lot of it sounds like the "old" GOP that spawned Goldwater, Reagan, Eisenhower and the rest. It's a sad day in American politics when ads of the Rove variety are all that McCain is using. And Sarah Palins' much-vaunted "stopped the Bridge to Nowhere" turns out to be a situation where she KEPT the $ (hardly a savings for the taxpayers, is it?) As I said in another article, Sarah Palin seems like a perfectly okay mother of five, but she is not qualified to lead this country, and...please...don't give me the "Mayor of Washilla/Governor for months" thing again.
Rose...good job! It is definitely a sad day in America when the "Bubba' vote (i.e., closet racism) might prevail over the best candidates for the job at hand. The pick of Palin...from all the Republican female governors that were available (Olympia Snowe of Maine; Kaye Bailey Hutchison of Texas) is a slap-in-the-face not only for Republican women, but for ALL women. Sarah Palin, quite simply, is just a pretty face who appeals to the evangelical right wing of the party. Attending the RNC and going to a Ron Paul Rally in the Twin Cities within days of each other, i can see the GOP is split into 2 factions: the "old" guard (read the RNC and McCain and the evangelicals who have taken over that wing) and the "young" guard, led, ironically, by Ron Paul. In order to be viable, the Republican Party needs to find a way to bring back honesty, integrity and truthfulness...in other words, repudiate the Karl Rove political ploys, and it should start with McCain and Palin,. It certainly isn't, but
He's a genetic republican for sure. Rich as hell.
