Mixologist Dante LoPresti Reveals 2012 Maxim Super Bowl Party Cocktails

The Maxim Super Bowl Party continues to be the top-rated party of the NFL Super Bowl each year, an invitation-only event that boasts a guest list of celebrities, athletes, and models from around the world. The 2012 Maxim Super Bowl Party theme is "Superheroes" and top mixologist Dante LoPresti has shared some exclusive recipes for the party in an email interview. The cocktail lineup includes superhero-inspired drinks such as "The Ultimat Superhero" made with vodka, grape juice or ginger ale, and frozen grapes.

The year's Maxim Party will be held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 4, 2012 from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. as a kick-off celebration for Super Bowl XLVI. VIP tickets are still available to the public and are currently priced at an average of $2,000 per person. These packages typically include premium open bar, cocktail service, photo opportunities with Maxim Girls, and the chance to walk down the 40-foot red carpet upon arrival.

Here are three exclusive 2012 Maxim Super Bowl Party cocktail recipes from mixologist Dante LoPresti:

The Incredible Grapefruit

1 oz. Patrón Silver

.25 oz.Patrón Citrónge

1 oz. Fresh Grapefruit Juice

Splash of club soda

Lime wedges

METHOD: Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Shake well. Strain into rocks glass. Top with splash of club soda and squeeze lime wedge on top.

Maxim Gingerita

2 oz. Patrón Reposado Tequila

.5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

1 oz. Elixir G Ginger Mix

METHOD: Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Shake well. Strain into a glass over ice.

The Ultimat Superhero

1.5 oz. Ultimat Vodka

2.5 oz. White Grape Juice Ginger Ale

Fresh or Frozen grapes

METHOD: In tall glass with ice, add Ultimat vodka and white grape juice. Top with ginger ale. Garnish with grapes.

Last year's Maxim party was held at Fair Park's Centennial Hall in Dallas and included a surprise performance from Wyclef Jean. Celebrities in attendance at last year's event included Chris Brown, Olivia Munn, Guy Fieri, and Ocho Cinco. This year's event will include performances by celebrity DJs, and a showcase of products and samples from VIP vendors.

Super Bowl XLVI will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Sunday, February 5, 2012. Maxim is also hosting the "Maxim Salute the Troops Tailgate Party" earlier in the day on Super Bowl Sunday with an appearance by "Midwest hometown hottie" April Rose. This event will be hosted by former NFL all-star and current broadcaster Tony Siraguasa. Tickets for the pre-game party on Sunday are $650 per person.
