1. Born in the U.S.A. by Bruce Springstein. How can you not feel like an American listening to this song?
2. Courtesy of the Red, White, And Blue (The Angry American) by Toby Keith. This song will make you feel patriotic and feisty!
3. Here For the Party by Gretchen Wilson. Guests won't be sitting around after this song!
4. Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly sung by Aaron Tippin.
5. We're an American Band sung by Grand Funk Railroad. An oldie but a goodie! You can even buy The Best of Poison 20 Years of Rock to have it sung by them.
6. Independence Day by country singer Martina McBride. She has such a booming voice for such a petite thing! Her voice will give you shivers when you hear this. Even if you do not like country music, you will love this song!
7. When Johnny Comes Marching Home by Patrick S. Gilmore (1863). This is very meaningful at this time since our soldiers are fighting in a war.
8. Battle of New Orleans sung by Johnny Horton. This song used to be popular when I was dating my husband. Back then it was even an old tune! This song was made popular again by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
9. America the Beautiful sung by Frank Sinatra or Elvis Presley. Many other artists have recorded this patriotic song. I bet most of your guests will have their hand over their heart when they hear this song.
10. God Bless the U.S.A. sung by Lee Greenwood. This song will definitely make you "proud to be an American."
