Jose Guillen, OF, Kansas City Royals
Guillen is still available in half of Fantasy Baseball leagues. He is currently batting .341 with 5 home runs and 9 RBI. His hot streak will stop sooner or later, but he is worth picking up and sticking in your outfield right now.
Cameron Maybin, OF, Florida Marlins
Although Maybin walks to the plate to the sound of Party in the USA, he has had a nice start to the 2010 season. Maybin is your solution if you are in need of someone who scores runs often and in large amounts. Maybin is batting .294 and has 13 runs scored already. Maybin has 2 stolen bases, and should have a productive season in that category added to runs and batting average. Maybin is owned in only 11% of ESPN Fantasy Leagues, so grab him now.
Carl Pavano, SP, Cleveland Indians
We all know the name and that he has not lived up to his potential, but he is looking better than ever so far this season. Pavano has two wins and is carrying a 1.38 ERA. Despite this start, he is owned in only 38% of leagues, but that number has increased from 7% in a matter of a week. Grab Pavano now.
Kevin Millwood, SP, Baltimore Orioles
Millwood may be 0-2, but that is the Orioles problem, and not his. Millwood has pitched brilliantly in three games so far this season but is not getting any attention. He has a 2.89 ERA and has already logged 20 K's. His losses came from giving up 3 runs and then 1 run. Millwood also had a no decision after pitching 5 innings and only allowing 2 runs and striking out 5. Millwood is owned in just over 7% of leagues and is your man if you need K's and ERA, but not wins.
Fernando Rodney, RP, LA Angels
Rodney has filled in for injured closer Brian Fuentes nicely. Rodney has five scoreless appearances in which he earned three saves and one hold. Rodney had one bad outing where he allowed 4 runs, and is why his 6.00 ERA may scare some away. Rodney is a must for now while Fuentes is injured and he is only owned in 21% of leagues.
