MLM Leads

MLM Leads are all over the Internet! Really! It is unbelievable, there are millions of people on the Internet who want to get involved with MLM. These opportunity seekers have filled out forms on the Internet letting people know that they are a viable MLM lead, you just need to buy the MLM lead list that they are on, email them and you are going to be so rich. This is so Fantastic! I mean, you just have to realize that these opportunity seekers are sitting at home, dieing with anticipation that you will call or email them with your better than sliced bread business opportunity that will make them rich. Get off your butt and buy a MLM leads list today!

Really? Have you ever met or heard about someone, through legitimate channels, that got rich from calling or emailing a purchased MLM leads list? I didn't think so, neither have I. I look at it this way, if I had a list with all those names and the list was really good, I would not sell it for any amount of money. What would I do with a MLM lead list that was worth selling? Keep it and work the list myself for my MLM, Fortune Hi Tech Marketing. I sure would not sell the list to someone else. Only a con man is going to sell a MLM lead list and then he or she will sell that MLM lead list so many times that it will indeed become worthless as thousands start calling or emailing the people on the list.

If you are not convinced yet that at least most MLM lead lists are a con, consider this: How would a person get on a MLM lead list? Well, given the current Spam laws, they would have to opt in to the list. Who would knowingly do that? Most of the time what happens it that a person reads something interesting and asks for more information. Since the information was about MLM or a business opportunity, people that compile lists consider this person a viable lead. The lead is sold to you, you send information that was not asked for and one of two things normally happens. Since you are not on the persons contact list, your email ends up in a Spam folder and is deleted or the person reads your info, marks it as Spam and sends it to the Spam folder. You know this is true because you do it yourself.

I look at it this way: Purchasing MLM leads is kind of like becoming the long scraggly haired homeless guy, you know the one, down on the corner, thumping his Bible quoting Revelations and yelling for all to repent. How many people do you think come to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior because of this guy?

So what is a viable MLM lead? Your MLM leads are the same as they have always been since this type of business was first formed. Your family and friends are a great start. Always ask for referrals. Uncle Frank may not be interested in your new MLM but he knows people that you don't. Ask Uncle Frank to help his favorite nephew out and give you some referrals. Ask Uncle Franks referrals to give you more referrals. These are the best MLM leads you can get. MLM is sales no matter who tells you otherwise. Sales can be had over the INTERNET, but if people have never heard of you before, you have to develop a relationship before they will be interested in following you in a business like MLM.
