MLM - What You Need to Look for when Choosing Which Company to Join

There are literally thousands of mlm opportunities to choose from out there. They seem to all be screaming for you to join up with them. Some promise you things that any intelligent person would have to know are not realistic or even possible to fulfill.

Which companies are legit? Which one is right for you?

A good place to start would be to have a trustworthy 3rd party source do the research and due diligence for you. Where can you find a reliable and unbiased 3rd party source that can do this for you?

Find the information you need through The Direct Selling Association.

Their mission is "To protect, serve and promote the effectiveness of member companies and the independent business people they represent. To ensure that the marketing by member companies of products and/or the direct sales opportunity is conducted with the highest level of business ethics and service to consumers."

I just looked it up and as I write this there are currently 197 companies listed with the direct selling association. There are many promising quality mlm companies out there that are not members of the dsa. They might be in the process of being accepted, but it does take time. After checking everything out, you might even feel comfortable enough to join up with them.

There is nothing wrong with doing that. I am just suggesting that you really need to make sure that you have 100% confidence in the company that you choose to represent because if something goes wrong with the company, your reputation is on the line. And your reputation can be one of your greatest assets or liabilities if you are serious about making this industry a part of your long term financial plans.

What I recommend is that when looking to find which company you should join, it would be a good idea to start your research by looking at companies that are members of the dsa.
