M&M Expects a Turnover of 10,000 Crore

Indian car manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra with its joint venture with two other is aiming at turnover of Rs 10,000 Crore by 2011.

The company has a batch of new cars awaiting in pipeline for launch and is confident of accumulating the revenue flowing from the passenger car segment.

Mahindra & Mahindra's joint venture with Renault and Mahindra Mahindra International is already contributing a good share of business revenue from the passenger car segment.

According to Pawan Goenka, President, Mahindra & Mahindra (automotive sector), "The company is planning to introduce more vehicles from light to heavy by 2009 end and these launches are expected to attract more revenue figure by 2011."

Mahindra Xylo which is the latest addition to its stable is yet to prove its success. The bold and aggressive looking MPV is available in four variants which is powered by a 2.5 litre diesel m-eagle engine with an output of 112 bhp.
