MMA Training in the Dallas Area
I think parents should be interested in enrolling their kids in a martial arts school in Dallas, or wherever you may live. The martial arts give kids structure and discipline, not to mention strengthening self reliance. Most if not all of these Dallas area MMA schools will have classes for children.
North Dallas MMA

North Dallas MMA offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes for people ages 5 and up. They have kids and teens classes. This Dallas MMA school also offers classes in MMA, Muay Thai, Judo, Boxing and Wrestling.
Dallas Martial Arts
Dallas Martial Arts is located at 18484 Preston Road Suite 201 in Dallas Texas, phone them at 972-964-5425. Dallas Martial Arts offers adult classes in Muay Thai, Karate, Self Defense, and MMA. Kid's classes are available for kids 5-7 and 8-11. Call them for details on getting a free trial class. Prof Stephen Selby is the chief instructor at Dallas Martial Arts.
Mohler Jiu-Jitsu
Mohler Jiu-Jitsu is at 989 W. Sandy Lake Road Suite 400 in Coppell Texas. I list this with Dallas MMA schools because it is close to the city. Mohler Jiu-Jitsu offers classes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, Boxing, Wrestling Takedowns and Muay Thai. Unlike most places they offer two free introductory classes.
Guy Mezger's Combat Sports Club
Guy Mezger's is located at 14839 Inwood Road in Addison Texas. Adult classes are as follows, Boxing, Kickboxing, Submissions Grappling, Muay Thai and MMA Grappling. Kids classes are broken down in two age groups of 5-6 and 7-12, and they have a kids summer camp.
