I feel that MMA is going to be popular for a long time. As a person has trained a little in Karate, I can see where a mixture of styles of Martial Arts would be beneficial. I think that MMA is a great workout, self defense art and even a way to win fame and fortune as a competitor. Thanks for reading my article about Los Angeles MMA schools.

R1 Gym
The R1 Gym in El Segundo California is one of the oldest MMA schools in the United States. Here is the R1 curriculum in MMA, Submission Wrestling, Boxing, Muay Thai and Women's Threat Management, along with Strength, Conditioning & Performance Training. Some of the MMA fighters who have trained at R1 (formerly RAW) are Randy Couture, Tom Erickson and Frank Trigg. With fighters of their caliber using the R1 Gym, you know this is the place to train for MMA competitions.
