Mobile Homes an Affordable Alternative to High Rents and Mortgages

Mobile homes. I was just searching the internet recently and came upon a website about mobile homes. So, I decided to look further into the idea of living in a mobile home. And, here's what I came up with.

It seems many of the mobile homes are very nice looking and have lots of curb appeal. Some are single wide and some are double wide. You can get one with one or four bedrooms and/or one or two bathrooms. The length of each mobile home varies for each. Most times amenities are included in the rental or sale of the mobile home. Whether you rent or buy, all mobile homes will need to be in a mobile home park. Mobile parks have the necessary utility hookups for your mobile home.

After looking at many mobile homes on the internet I realized that not many are for rent but more are for sale. And, I was very surprised to see that the prices were very affordable. Most mobile homes for sale require about a 10% down payment. That's not too bad. The other thing is that the mobile home community will also charge you a monthly rental fee. Which isn't too bad either.

Each mobile home community/park is different. Some have their own community rules and members. One mobile park community has their own mayor and people on a community board. One of the best things is that you are not paying any taxes on your mobile home. So, you are saving allot of money.

Mobile homes are not for everyone. But, if your going through hard financial times, it's a good alternative to think about. And, with anything else, do your research before purchasing any mobile home. And, find out what the rules and regulations are in the community that you will be thinking of moving into before you buy.
