There are some modern day products that are meant to be more convenient for their users but sometimes end up making life a lot harder. These products do add a great deal of value to our lives, but sometimes, that value is lost when we have to deal with issues that arise because of those same products.

Modern Convenience Products that Make Life Harder

Cell Phones- Cell phones are convenient, but they are also a hassle. There is nothing worse than trying to enjoy an evening out when someone calls that you don't really want to talk to but feel obligated to do so. Not to mention being able to get on the internet with it. That creates another set of problems.

Computers- Personal computers have a great deal of convenience and that can't be argued. They also cause a great deal of problems. Losing all of your information because of a virus is just one small way that computers make life much harder than it has to be.

GPS- A GPS is meant to guide you while you are navigating somewhere. The only problem is that the convenience of having this convenience can cause a lot of problems while you are driving. Many people forget that the GPS doesn't tell you when to stop at a red light and it doesn't always get directions right. This can lead to accidents and that is one of the main reasons that this gadget actually makes life a bit harder than just getting a map.

IPods- The IPod provides a place for our media files and it's small. It can also be dangerous. Wearing the headphones can create dangers by not being able to hear outside forces. That makes life much harder for some of us.

Microsoft Excel- Microsoft Excel makes life very convenient in some ways but it is one product that provides a lot of inconvenience. For instance, learning the program can be problematic in and of itself. It can take years to learn.

These products have all saved us time and energy at some point in our lives if we have used them. They have also created turmoil in our lives that we wouldn't have had without them. Use these products wisely and they will create more convenience than inconvenience. You will likely have some trouble with them along the way but it can be kept to a minimum.
