Ah, the power of modern technology
I turned on my laptop and there you are smiling at me
We've met each other in Facebook
I knew then that for us there's a positive outlook
I turned on my laptop and there you are smiling at me
We've met each other in Facebook
I knew then that for us there's a positive outlook
E-mail messages and endless chat sessions
Just to get online, we come up with various reasons
Every note from you I save in my flash drive
A glimpse of your photos makes me come alive
This I consider a modern love
Than rubies and pearls, our relationship is far above
I wish we could see each other not just here in cyberspace
So I can shower you with love and sweet embrace

Thanks, Susan! My wife benefits from all this sweet loving. I appreciate your comment.
This is a really great poem with both modern and slightly older elements. It is inspiring and totally believable and I hope it is a sign for you of an on-going friendship and romance.
That's absolutely right, Donna. Thank you for noticing. I posted this because I was inspired by your pieces.
Even though it's modern love, it has such a sweet sense of old fashioned romance! What a sweet poem.
