Moe's Southwest Grill in Lawrenceville, Georgia - Restaurant Review

"Welcome to Moe's" is the salutation you receive every time you walk into a local Moe's Southwest Grill. It's friendly, warm and inviting, but what about the food? We'll that's pretty inviting too. I tried Moe's for the first time about seven years ago and I have to admit I had no idea what and how to order. I was treading in unfamiliar territory as I checked out the menu it just made it even more confusing. After all, there were burritos, salads, qusadillas, fajitas and nachos, so many wonderful choices that it was hard to make a decision.

My first experience with Moe's was not a pleasant one as I ordered a burrito with just beef in it with no toppings. Why did I do that? It was the blandest meal I have ever had in my life, therefore I didn't rush back to visit Moe's. However, on my next visit I took a friend who is very familiar with Moe's and their menu. So they asked me, "what kind of toppings do you like" and I told them and I ordered a triple Lindy which is a burrito with your choice of meat (Steak or Chicken), sour cream, beans, salsa and other toppings of your choice. It was fantastic and contained everything I loved and I quickly became a fan!

When you first walk into a Moe's establishment, your see lots of friendly faces and a variety of vibrant colors that make you think of the South West with Tara cotta, yellows and sand hues. Moe's is very family friendly and even offers discount and coupons on certain days. Some of my favorites on the Moe's menu are the burritos and vegetarian quesadillas which include onions, mushrooms, green peppers and wonderful cheese melted to perfection.

If you prefer a more healthily fare, then Moe's has you covered with their signature salads such as Close Talker which comes with fresh lettuce, beans, cheese, pico de gallo, cucumbers and black olives. This salad can be served with our without meat or you can choose the Personal Trainer which is a vegetarian salad. My favorite Moe's is located at 900 Duluth Highway, Suite #1000 Lawrenceville, Georgia 30043, at the corner of Duluth Highway and Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road.
