Mom Finds Snake Head in Green Beans. Company Says She's Wrong, It's a Frogs Head!!
Package Says "no Additives" !
She was shocked and called her kids to come look. They took video and you can find that here. After the initial screaming slowed, the kids were mortified. Ernestine Jamison said it's hard enough trying to get your kids to eat green vegetables without finding a snake head in the green beans. "I saw big eyes, with a mouth open and a tongue coming out, it looked like it was ready to attack," said 15 year old Sarah.
When Jamison contacted Pictsweet to tell them of the snake head, the company offered her $150. She turned it down saying that she wasn't after money. Next, Pictsweet's insurance company provider to Jamison claims Pictsweet "is not responsible for this accident," and they are "denying liability." They also said that the head was not of a snake but rather of a frog!! As if that's going to make Jamison and her kids feel better about it!
Finding a snake head in your frozen green beans is a surprise that most folks can do without. Finding a frog's head would be no more of a "treat" to find. Thankfully it was spotted before anyone consumed it or got it half way to their mouth.
Things happen, check your food. Just because it is frozen or canned doesn't mean that a snake, frog or other little critters won't be accidentally hiding. Other instances have been fried mouse in fried chicken, condom in clam chowder and a mouse was found in a can of green beans.
It's kind of like Cracker Jacks, some foods are evidently going to give you a "prize". The woman that found the snake (frog) head in her green beans has my sympathy.

Post a CommentCrazy thing to happen! Interesting article..
It must be green beans. I found a completely intact grasshopper in some once. But a snake/frog head sure tops that. Think of it as extra protein :)
$150? Try $150,000 for pain and suffering! I would have died.
That is utterly gross! Ugh...I would be screaming, too!
