Mom Poem

Katheryn (Kat) Markle
My mama, were you crying?
Or were you dying?
Forever lying
in the ground
becoming part of it.
That's what you are now.
Where is my mama?
She is everywhere
Even in the mirror
as I pass by. Oh my.
I cannot deny
my mama
I see in me, I see in my daughter.
The ambience of loss
is like a slaughter.
I love you and miss you, mama.
Mama? Oh Mama...
