Moments

Tina Twito

To touch these moments,

now unstrung,

unbound from linear time.

My life now,

not that ancient river--

stepped in once

and changed forever--

but a fresh-born sea.

.

Not all that was is lost,

but tumbled,

polished as sea glass--

less changed

than revealed.
