Such is the world
Of a Little Girl
Mud pies and giggles
Mud squished between toes
A bad dream at night
Fantasy world full of foes
Comes and snuggles beside me
We cuddle and sleep
Such are the memories
Deep in my heart I'll keep
All too soon
Her world started to change
Clothes and hairstyles
First dates to arrange
I am not so much a part now
Of your growing place in the world
But to me you'll always be
