Mommy, Look What I Made!

A splash of pink.
No, a little more red.
Try some fuschia.
No, violet instead.
The sky should be bluer,
And the trees should be darker.
Blending's so difficult
With magic marker!
Now for some paint.
Watercolor, they say.
That looks like the sun.
But we're drawing stars today.
I don't like this brush.
I'll just put it down...
And use my hands...
uh-oh. That makes Miss Deb frown.
"What have you done?
Color inside the lines!
