Was it from a stork
or was I left at your door?
In the beginning God
had a dream of
creating a very special child
He thought many days
just what you
would look like
He had dreams of
what gifts He could
give you to help you in the world
He gave you eyes to
see the awesome oceans
and other wonders ot the world
He gave you ears so
you could hear music
and me saying I love you
He gave you a voice
so you could say
nice words to people
Then He gave you
the most wonderful
heart filled with love
He knew that you
would be able to
help many people
He created you
with great thought and care
No one in the world is just like you
Then you were
born and I saw
what God had done
I was so happy
and knew God
gave you to me to love
We see you
as a miracle from God
You bring great joy to God and me
