MOM'S Inc: Fighting for the Health of Our Children and Everyone

Denise
It is so easy to take life for granted especially once we get used to things. It is a habit to let things go, and not look up to see the changes going on around us. Then, someone brings up certain issues you never dealt with before, and you notice it for the first time. To understand what I'm talking about take the time to reminisce about people and the food you used to eat. I believe people who grew up in the forties or before should know. It's not just about the prices of the food made in the past, but the size it suddenly grew to in front of our eyes. On Oprah Winfrey's show, her guest Dr. Roizen and Dr. Mehmet Oz showed the audience what a muffin used to look like. Nowadays, that muffin has doubled it's size, and a variety of other products have done the same. Do we ever stop to wonder why? Of course not! Our lives are filled up with many other issues that makes it seem like a trivial. It isn't trivial, and a group of mother of the website www.moms-inc.com are on the war path to protect our children from the unseen dangers in food that has effected us all. For example, when was the last time you ever heard of a baby getting a yeast infection? Another question to ask yourself about is the usual age group people can expect to get heart conditions, diabetes or stroke? Since when did that age group begin to include children and adolescents?

This is a problem plaguing our nation now that cannot be dismissed as a problem of the people any longer. Our nation is suffering from an epidemic of our youth becoming obese at young ages. How can this be possible when children and adolescents are the most active of us all? Something is clearly wrong with this, and it has to be the food. Everyone cannot be prejudged as couch potatoes who eat nothing , but junk food all day long. Some of us with no weight gaining genes can get away with it, but everyone does not eat as much as you think. Eva Salvagni, the Vice President and Co-Founder of MOMS-I.N.C aims to educate parents about nutrition, and get them to become involved in the school lunch program, government, and food manufacturers to help our children. First, to learn the facts about our food that seemed to have become a traditional practice in the food industry. Moms Inc has discovered five unnatural ingredients that are additives in our food. Moreover, these additives are believed to be the culprits of the childhood obesity, behavioral issues, and to failing health.

If you check the ingredients in normal as well as junk food you will find these additives: High Fructose Corn Syrup or all artificial sweeteners, Trans Fats (partially or fully artificial hydrogenated oils), MSG Mono-sodium Glutamate and all artificial flavor chemicals, Artificial Preservatives and Dyes, Hormones and Pesticides. These additives can be found in everything from the bread to peanut butter and a numerous amount of others. Another point Dr. Roizen and Dr. Mehmet Oz spoke about is products that do not mention Whole Grain or Whole Wheat as the first ingredient is not the real thing. In addition, if the grain you buy for the purpose of keeping to the basic dietary guidelines has Enriched Flour among the ingredients it cannot benefit you. Meaning, products with enriched flour is put through a process that takes all nutrients out of it, and puts a little back in. Why would the food industry need to make such a bad decision that have ultimately affected all of our health? The best advice is to seek out the books from Kevin Trudeau no matter what negative things you've heard at www.naturalcures.com . After all, why not read what is said against him and what he says to hear the story from all sides. Don't forget to read Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dr. Roizen's book titled "You, The Owners Manual". You can also check out their site at www.realage.com.

When you discover that each of these people have similar findings, it won't make Kevin Trudeau look so bad. The FDA and Nutrition experts wants to teach children to read food labels on their own. The Cartoon Network and the FDA wants children to watch out for foods with High Sodium, Cholesterol, and Fat. The purpose of nutrition is to promote healthier habits to lessen the already crowded Emergency Rooms, and give our medical staffs a much needed break. There will always be a need for medical help, but it sure would make their day to have patients improving the best way they can. Nevertheless, it is not a solution we can work on alone. We all need to make sure that those dangerous ingredients put in our food are removed to prevent further damage to our health. It's not all about high fat, cholesterol , sodium and sugar. It is about the Additives and Practices of the food industry that can change to make a tremendous difference in our lives. To Join MOMS-I.N.C. call 1(315)214-5041. It's time we take over our health and our bodies we own. If these additives effects the children, you know good and well it effects adults too.
