Monchyld's Entertainment News: Bromance Review

Brody Jenner's latest reality show Bromance is one to definitely watch. Going well into the second episode, you can see who's going to make it, who might make it and who shouldn't have been there to begin with. Brody truly started things off right by eliminating Jacob. This guy went into party mode full speed ahead making a total fool of himself; while trying to make a toast to Brody at a lingerie party dropping the f word like rain. Does he even know what he said? But overall most of the toasts were cool, and thanks to Alex's speech we now have the new term 'Broast' - which was his toast to Brody by way of a poem.

Another guy that stands out, and not in a good way, is Femi. He seems to think he's got this competition in the bag. He has this cocky attitude who thinks he's every animal in Wild Kingdom. Like Lacey in Rock of Love: Charm School and Omarosa in The Apprentice, Femi will be known as one of the great antagonists in reality television; who said being arrogant didn't pay? It didn't for Lacey or Omarosa because they lost so Femi should be careful; or is it too late? His high energy and emotions can be mistaken for a Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde complex. Almost like a landmine - be careful where you step because he could blow at any moment. He won't last very long if he continues to act like this.

He may be viewed as the underdog, but Gary could actually make it through the competition as one of the final three; only time will tell on that. He seems very genuine and real and that is what Brody's looking for, but is he ready for the high life? He could gain points with the ladies for being a dance instructor and just being himself has so far worked well for him.

Chris P. tried too hard and his nervousness got the best of him to the point where he found it difficult to just be Chris. Brody even extended a hand by inviting him and another contestant of his choice (Femi) to hang out a bit at a vodka bar called Nic's to get to know him better. As it turns out Chris couldn't hold it together with his liquor either. The next day he was feeling the effects of the various vodkas he tried and still wasn't too sure if he could be the one to join the crew; ultimately he was next to be eliminated. How was he supposed to be a part of this crowd when he kept second guessing himself?

Alex could very well be a kindred friend for Brody considering they can relate to having extended families due to the parents remarrying. He's confident and is ready to take on anything that will get him ahead of the game and win. He's seems to be the more laid back guy of the group.

Chris F. is possibly presenting himself as someone who can easily be intimidated and Femi was able to see that and used it to his advatage. Chris needs to buck up if he wants to survive the show. He's got the potential to do it; he needs to believe he can handle the challenge.

Jered can be considered as a quiet type but you know what they say - the quiet ones are the one to look out for. He has the drive to want to win the prize of becoming a part of Brody's entourage; with his guy next door looks he may just pull it off.

Partygoer Luke has had a good connection with Brody thus far. He of course gave a great first impression by bringing the hottest girls to the lingerie party and winning the first challenge in the process. He expressed that he likes how Brody and his friends have fun; he thinks he could be down with the guys.

Michael was the only guy who chose to leave because the atmosphere was not what he envisioned. Instead of living like a frat guy, he was looking for something similar to that of The Hills; wrong way to go Mike. However, he did tell Brody how he felt and even expressing how much he wanted Brody and Lauren to get back together. The end result was Brody taking Michael to the airport and proceeding on with the show.

Not only will the winner be part of Brody's tight circle of friends; they'll also win a fully furnished penthouse on Olympic Boulevard in Los Angeles. This takes things to a more competitive level for the guys. How bad to they want to be a part of this lavish lifestyle? Who will Brody choose to be his new BFF? Watch Bromance on Mondays at 9pm on MTV and find out.
