She's witty, she's charming and she's one of the most talented actresses to ever hit the big screen. Do I sound like a fan? Top 10 Must-See Movies Starring Susan Sarandon

"The Great Waldo Pepper" : My mother always enjoyed watching movies starring Robert Redford and "The Great Waldo Pepper" was no exception. Introduced to this one when I was much younger, it's the tale of an airplane pilot, dissatisfied with his lot in life, who takes up barnstorming and aerial stunts for a living. Susan Sarandon plays the part of Mary Beth in this high-flying film; a beautiful young lady who loses her life in a tragic accident.

"The Rocky Horror Picture Show" : One of my favorite roles for Susan Sarandon is the part of "innocent" Janet Weiss in the cult classic "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Not only did she do a great job singing and acting in the part, her mood swings (from shy virgin to sexy strumpet) are as essential to this movie's success as Tim Curry's corset.

"The Hunger" : Another scandalous role for the beautiful Susan Sarandon is that of Dr. Sarah Roberts in the classic vampire film, "The Hunger." Starring opposite legendary rock idol David Bowie and the gorgeous Catherine Deneuve, this movie caused a stir due to a lesbian seduction scene. If you're looking for a fast-paced action-based vampire movie, this isn't for you. However, if you enjoy the more artsy types and can deal with a rather slow plot, it does have a very intriguing tale to tell.

"The Witches of Eastwick" : Once you've seen this film, you cannot eat a cherry without thinking of this movie - trust me on this. Starring alongside Cher, Michelle Pfeiffer and the amazing Jack Nicholson, Susan Sarandon won a Saturn Award for Best Actress in this amazing horror comedy. If you enjoy a good laugh, this one has some classic parts that will leave you in stitches.

"Bull Durham" : Voted Sports Illustrated's #1 Greatest Sports Movie of all time, "Bull Durham" is a romantic comedy about the wonderful world of baseball. Susan Sarandon plays Annie Savoy, a sexy baseball groupie that sets out to seduce a rookie pitcher nicknamed "Nuke" (played by Tim Robbins). Susan and Tim hit it off in this movie and remained a couple for more than 20 years before their recent split.

"Thelma & Louise" : "Thelma & Louise" was one of those movies that I really didn't think I'd enjoy but, when I finally did get around to seeing it, I fell in love. It's very hard to summarize this movie into a single paragraph, due to its depth. It has funny moments and sad moments, and moments that are very empowering to women. Starring Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis, I suppose the best way to describe it would be as a chick flick extraordinaire. If you enjoy chick flicks, you should definitely watch this one.

"Lorenzo's Oil" : Susan Sarandon plays the role of Michaela Odone in this true story of two parents and their desperate search for a cure after their son is diagnosed with adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD). A painful and intensely moving film, it's heart wrenching and impossible not to get pulled into this family's plight. Susan Sarandon was nominated for an Academy Award and for Best Actress at the 50th Golden Globe Awards for this film.

"The Client" : This movie never gets old for me, no matter how many times I've watched it. Based on the John Grisham novel, it's a thrilling legal film about a boy who witnesses too much and the female lawyer who sets out to help him. Playing the part of Reggie Love, Susan Sarandon was nominated for an Academy Award for this role and won a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.

"Dead Man Walking" : Another one of those power dramas that kicks you in the gut, this is the story of Matthew Poncelet (played by Sean Penn) a man on death row, and Sister Helen Prejean, the woman who attempts to get his sentence changed from death row to life imprisonment. Susan Sarandon received an Academy Award for Best Actress in this role.

In addition to her roles in a wide variety of television shows and movies, Susan Sarandon also does quite a bit of voice work and can be heard as the voice of Miss Spider in "James and the Giant Peach," Coco LaBouche in "Rugrats in Paris: The Movie," and the voice of Ivy in "Cats & Dogs." A multi-faceted actress that has dazzled us for more than 30 years, Susan Sarandon most recently stars in "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" with Michael Douglas and Shia LaBeouf.
