Money Problems Shadowed the Marriage of Prophetess Juanita Bynum and Bishop Thomas Weeks III

Financial problems can put a strain on any marriage. This seems to be one of the reasons for the failed marriage of Prophetess Juanita Bynum and her soon to be ex husband Bishop Thomas Weeks.

Atlanta's channel Fox 5 news has reported prior to the infamous attack on his wife in a hotel parking garage, Bishop Weeks was deep in debt when he and Prophetess Bynum moved from Washington D.C. to Atlanta last year to expand their ministry.

Some of his debt includes a $63,000 judgment from Xerox Corporation, a $22,000 judgment from the jewelry giant Tiffany and Co., a $13,000 judgment from a credit card company and from Ford Motor Credit- a $6,000 judgment.

The couple was leasing a 2.5 million dollar home with 6 bedrooms in the luxury golf community St. Marlo in Forsyth County. Back in June the couple received an eviction notice to vacate the luxury home due to owing over $54,000 in past due rent.

Fox 5 Atlanta goes on to report that when deputies went to serve Bishop Weeks the eviction notice, he and all the furniture were gone.

Money problems are one of the top reasons why couples divorce. What it boils down to is spending habits. A marriage can thrive when both partners are on the same page when it comes to financial habits. But when one partner over spends and they don't see eye to eye on money management, serious problems can arise in the marriage.

From the Fox 5 Atlanta report, it seems that Bishop Weeks and Juanita Bynum were spending money they simply did not have. How can a couple with such a huge ministry fall into the traps of debt? Was it a case of the more money you have, the more problems will arise?

Constant arguing over money can cause tension in a marriage. Often money can mask the real reason why a marriage is in trouble. When a couple argues over money, the words often turn into personal attacks that have nothing to do with money at all.

As a married Christian woman, I have come across problems in my marriage like many couples face. People are under the impression that just because we are Christian, we are immune to the same problems that non Christians face. Nothing can be further from the truth. As a matter of fact, Christian marriages come under attack more so than others. That's why it's wise for Christian couples to stay strong in the word of God. Personal differences and money problems are easy distractions from the word of God.

So now we have Bishop Weeks facing assault charges on his wife; a sad ending to a marriage that seemed to have begun on the word of God.

I read abit of your latest book of 'No more Sheets' and you say juanita that you want to 'deliver' women. You are NOT the deliverer ! Jesus is the deliverer. How did Jesus deliver you? Thats what a testimony is.
And I saw a bit of your sermon on u tube about how women should learn to wash clothes and buy sofa sets and have money if they want to get married, yes thats very nice, and alot of people know how to do all those things and they dont have husbands ! Why are you preaching rubbish ?!
And what do you know ?, your second marriage failed ! Its time to admit that you dont know what you are talking about juanita, quit while you are ahead !!

For we know this..''ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR OUR GOOD''!All the people judging and accusing the anointed,i ask you to throw another stone of accusation at them if you have never been in a situation where you wished people didnt judge you.To the Prophetess and my Mentor- regardless of the current circumstances- i ask you to just stand strong, forgetting the former things, for The Father will indeed cause you to smile again. We love and believe in you.SHALOM

Both of them should check there lives carefully if there is no pride in it. Forgive and forget, the problem is a trial of faith unto them because they are both ministers.

I feel that If Mrs. Bynum desire was to get married then so be it. God does give you the desire of your heart. I really do hate that this marriage wasnt successful, however, God is able to do all things. I really hate that it took this for them to depart. Sometimes we have to realize that when things don't go our way, we cant just up and jump out of things we have to go through them. I think that there were some personal issues with both of them. First of all, I don't think that their relationship should have been so publicized. The devil knew exactly what he was doing. What we should do as saints, is pray for this couple and I am still hoping for the best for both. I heart and soul is burdened by this marraiage, simply because I know that satan is just so happy, but I will say that God can fix this thing even if it takes years. If this man was meant for Juanita so be it. We all fall short of the glory of God. There is no sin greater that the other. God has forgiven bo
