One you should add is that many banks, like Wachovia, offer FREE savings programs, wherein everytime you use your debit card to make a purchase, a dollar goes into a savings account just for this. It's a painless way of saving. Best of all-- it has a higher interest rate than a standard savings account. It's 5 % interest per month, and at the end of the year it's another 5% on the total amount. Great way to save for a vacation!
Good hints. Roberta B.
