The flavor on the Halloween Lollipop Rings is a lot better than you might expect. They are hard tack candy pieces that are attached to a plastic ring so they are exactly like a Ring Pop but have a spooky shape to them instead of a gemstone design. These are not something that I would give to younger kids because they could easily bite off a piece and choke on it as well as doing the same thing with the plastic base when they are done with the candy. The ring section is a little on the small side but there is a break in the band so you can slide it on fat fingers but you might end up with an uncomfortable pinching feeling after a while.
Halloween Lollipop Rings are sold in bags of twenty five rings so there is no guarantee that you are going to get an even number of each design. I got these at a local candy warehouse for $3.00 a bag which is a steal because I have seen them sold individually for about fifty cents. Even though they are a seasonal item they do keep well because they are individually sealed so if you have left over pieces you can munch on them well through Christmas but don't think about saving them until next Halloween as they will get tacky and taste horrible. For the price I couldn't pass up getting these. They look great in a big bowl or clear candy jar; we're on the third bag at the shop and we still have another week until Halloween arrives!
