I love Monster Milk, but it's only natural because I adore the Muscle Milk product. I was given the opportunity to do some testing with the Monster Milk product, and I've come from that feeling like Monster Milk is likely the ultimate protein supplement. As a former prep athlete (cross country, basketball, track & field) and current lay trainer, I've learned about the benefits of having a great protein supplement to infuse with your diet and exercise regimen. As one who religiously weight-trains using bodybuilding methods as well, Monster Milk is right up my alley, and there are a few reasons why.
One thing I took away during my initial and subsequent testing was the flavor. I tried the Cake Batter version, and it was absolutely delicious. It actually tempted me, because I wanted to drink more and more of the stuff, but knowing how precious that my supply was, I didn't want to foil my plans for its future usage. Literally, the Cake Batter Monster Milk tastes like it could literally go straight into a Bundt pan for a yellow cake recipe.
The second thing I enjoyed about Monster Milk was the fullness that I felt in using the product. I used it pre-workout, during my workout, and post-workout, for different workouts, just so I could get a good varied read on how I'd feel. Pre-workout, I felt noted energy; enough so that I could complete a good hour-long workout, even if I hadn't eaten big enough before. During a few workouts, when I used Monster Milk, my energy was replenished and it was like had received a second wind in my training. Post-workout, I felt the great benefits of Monster Milk, from the standpoint of having my appetite sated.
Lastly, Monster Milk is attractive to me for its composition. With a truly monstrous 50g protein/serving, Monster Milk has great potential for people who are consistently seeking to build healthy muscle tissue, and because of its high vitamin content, using a multivitamin becomes somewhat obsolete (saving you and I money by skipping that step).
In short, I really love the stuff.
