Monsters Vs. Aliens Review

In the Same Vein as Shrek, Monsters Vs. Aliens Doesn't Dissapoint for Any Audience

I'm getting about that age where I start to appreciate things for what they are. I'm no longer concerned about being "cool" or "hip". I'm not supposed to like Monsters vs. Aliens, but I found it to be an amazing movie. Animated movies like this are considered only for kids, but that stigma is rapidly changing with the release of films in the same vein as Shrek and Toy Story.

Monsters vs. Aliens is in that category. Yes, it's still made genuinely for children, but Pixar does a fantastic job of creating it so that you can enjoy it as an adult too. The humor is simple but funny. There's nothing overly complex here. It's just a very good movie. I would highly recommend that you see Monsters vs. Aliens with you kid. They'll love it.

One thing is for sure. If you're just going to see a marvel of modern technology, you won't be disappointed either. The movie itself is visually stunning, but I wish they would have made it in 3D. That would have been the icing on the cake. Either way, Cake is still delicious. From the monsters to the shiny environment, it's quite an eye opener.

The characters are all very interesting. The main plot of the storyline is Susan Murphy's transformation from a hesitant bride to a crazy freak-like being, to a free drifting persona. The evolution of this character is extroardinary.

Go see this movie. You won't regret it, and neither will your child. It'll be a bonding experience that you'll remember forever.
