Quebec's Mont Grand Fonds is located 150 kilometers outside of Quebec City and brings in epic snow conditions. This park is ideal for a winter sports getaway; this mountain offers great historical treasures along with a yearly snowfall of 650 centimeters of natural snow that makes for great skiing and snowboarding conditions all season long.
Mont Grand Fonds has a base elevation of 1,308 ft. with a summit elevation of 2,405 ft. the vertical drop is 1,095 ft. Mont Grand Fonds has an annual snowfall of 260 inches with 100 ski able acres. It offers one T-Bar lift and one Quad Chair and 14 trails of ski terrain. The longest run is 8,175 ft with a terrain park and half pipe. Snowboarders are welcome at Mont Grand Fonds.
This wonderful little village like resort offers a variety of services including great child care, lessons for the whole family, ski rentals, ski checks and all kinds of great lodging, dinning and entertainment. While skiing Mont Grand Fonds please take note to the trail rating signs that have been posted for the skiers benefit, make sure that you are on a trail that is suitable to your skiing experience. You can obtain trail maps while getting your ski lift tickets. While riding the quad chair up the mountain to your desired trail take notice that Mont grand Fonds has the most amazing views of the snow covered mountain and valleys.
