Montague Street Restaurant Corp. had been struggling for a few months this year, trying to get off of the restaurant inspectors' list of restaurants that have to be inspected once a month for getting twenty-eight ( 28 ) points or more on its restaurant inspection score. Then they finally did with their June 9th inspection, when the sixty-five ( 65 ) points they had only a day before suddenly went to zero.

While it is quite a curious thing how a restaurant could struggle for months with scores higher than 28, even getting scores in the sixties, and then suddenly get a zero score, maybe they should walk down the Montague Street a few doors to Five Guys Burgers & Fries and pick up a couple of pointers, because with Montague Restaurant's last inspection on October 14th they're back up to forty-three ( 43 ) points in violations.

Did the inspector give them a break on June 9th, since for months they were scoring very high with critical violations, only to come back and find they've yet to really get the restaurant in line with standards? Whatever I were to speculate, one thing is for sure; you don't get gigged for "Food Protection Certificate not held by supervisor of food operations" if you're really trying to hold to standards.
