Swan Mountain Outfitters

Swan Mountain Outfitters offers Montana bear hunts and combination hunts for other game. Swan Mountain Outfitters also does fishing guide service in Montana as well. Swan Mountain Outfitters leases an area of 15 by 20 miles in Western Montana. Swan Mountain Outfitters even has a hunting guide school where you can learn the business for yourself. Swan's black bear, mule deer and elk combination hunts last 7 to 9 days and are done on horseback. They are also available for archery elk hunts in Montana.

Montana High Country Outfitters

Montana High Country Outfitters has over 500,000 acres of land on their Forest Service Permits. Montana High Country Outfitters offers guided bear hunts for black bears. They have hunting permits to guide for all of Montana's big game animals. Montana High Country Outfitters are the only guide service allowed to camp in the Cabinet Wilderness area. At this time a spring or fall bear hunt costs $2,700 but check the Web site in the sources below for current prices.

White Mountain Outfitters

White Mountain Outfitters is located at 1851 Sutherland Lane in Corvallis Montana; phone them at 406-961-4615. White Mountain Outfitters does guided hunts in Lolo National Forrest in Western Montana. In addition to the bear hunts they also offer deer, elk and mountain lion hunts. Horses and mules will be used to get you to camps for the spring and fall hunts with White Mountain Outfitters. Spot and Stalk is the hunting method used as Montana does not allow baiting or dogs in bear hunting

Elk Creek Outfitting

Elk Creek Outfitting hunts in the Cabinet Wilderness of Montana. They offer elk, whitetail, mule deer, mountain lion, sheep, mountain goat, moose, buffalo, and of course guided bear hunts in Montana. Elk Creek Outfitting is just 70 miles south of British Columbia. Currently the spring and fall bear hunts are $1,950.
