Montana Fishburne Arrested for Prostitution

It has been learned that Montana Fishburne, who earlier this week claimed she was putting out a sex tape in order to advance her mainstream acting career, was arrested for prostitution in Hollywood, California in November of last year.

According to documents found by online celebrity news reporter Carlton Jordan, Montana Fishburne, who is the daughter of Hollywood heavyweight Laurence Fishburne, was arrested last November for violating accused of violating California penal code 647 (b)...this is the same as a prostitution charge.

If the story is true, and by the documents provided it certainly would seem that it is, it would seem that there is far more to the Montana Fishburne story than simply a young lady looking to use the porn industry as a means to establish herself in mainstream Hollywood.

Earlier this week, Fishburne said that she "had heard" that her famous father was very 'hurt' by the news that she was appearing in a porn movie. What is not clear is whether or not her father knows about her prostitution charge; one can only imagine that he would be even more hurt by this news.

The idea that Fishburne viewed porn as a stepping stone to career in Hollywood is not as farfetched as it would have been years ago. Porn has largely lost the stigma that it once had as stars such as Sasha Grey have made the transition from porn to Hollywood.

But what is starting to emerge now with Fishburne is the portrait of a possibly disturbed young lady. Prostitution is clearly not a stepping stone to a Hollywood career; particularly not if it is of the street walking variety.

While it remains to be seen if her participation in porn will have a positive or negative impact on Fishburne's Hollywood ambitions, the prostitution charge will likely scare off producers and casting directors.
