Your lodging at the guest ranch is only part of the great western experience. At the main lodge in the Great Room is a majestic three-sided fireplace and a sitting area with a spectacular view of LionHead Mountain. The lodge is also, where you will find the Dining Room. Each morning you can enjoy a satisfying country-style breakfast to fuel up for your day's activities. Breakfast selections range from ham steak and eggs to ranch style pancakes and country bacon.

Each cabin is in walking distance of the nine thousand square foot main lodge. The one-bedroom cabins have private outdoor hot tubs. The two bedroom cabins have an adjoining bathroom with a jetted spa tub.

The Bar N Ranch has seven lodge rooms all with great views of the two hundred acre ranch. Each room has a different décor. All rooms have a wood-burning fireplace, jetted spa tub, small refrigerator, and coffee maker.

The seven lodge rooms are the Collier, Yellowstone, Roaring, Targhee, and Hilgrad

Rooms. The all have queen beds and sitting areas. Most of them have French doors that open to a balcony. Some also contain a queen size futon.

There are two Grand Lodge Rooms. They are the Bannock Room and the Gallatin Room. Both have king sized beds and queen sized futons. The full baths in both of these have jetted spa tubs. There are also French doors in the living area that open to a balcony.

There are four one-bedroom cabins with wood burning fireplaces and private outdoor hot tubs. There are also three two-bedroom cabins with a queen-sized bed in each. The rooms are attached by a spacious bathroom with a jetted spa tub.

Dining at the Bar N Ranch consists of great steaks prepared to your request with baked potatoes. There are also fresh seafood, fresh salads, and an abundance of fresh fruits. The chef Jack Cole is a local legend when it comes to western cuisine.

Horseback riding at the Bar N Ranch can be an adventure. You can ride horseback across the national forest or the backcountry of Yellowstone National Park. Trail rides are available for the beginner to the more advanced rider. Instruction is available on horseback riding and trail riding upon request.

The local ponds and rivers have an abundance of trout. The waters of the Yellowstone are legendary with fly fishers across the country. The Bar N Ranch staff are excellent guides, can set you up with fishing equipment, and can show you the right place to catch that trophy trout.

River rafting, hiking and biking are other activities available at Bar N Ranch. There are many other activities for all ages and family members. This makes this guest ranch a perfect getaway for the whole family.
