The best attraction of the resort is its numerous pools. There are over 15 pools in the resort and they differ in depth to accommodate everyone. There are pools that are a foot up to 3 feet in depth for kids and 4 feet and above for adults. There are pools with slides and the main pools that are 5 feet in depth. These pools are from the hot springs by Mt. Makiling. These are well-maintained and the pools are refilled everyday.
As for accommodations, most of the visitors would stay for a few hours and even half day to swim (some during the day and some at night) and they could rent different cottages and some tables and chairs where they could sit down and prepare their stuff to swim or eat. There are cable TVs scattered around if you wish to just sit by your tables and relax. The rates are quite affordable as well.
You could also rent some of the rooms (which differ in sizes and rates) where you could stay overnight in the resort. Along with these private rooms are private pools for exclusive use of visitors of these rooms. Each room is fully furnished with appliances such as Cable Television, Refrigerator, Air-conditioner, and furniture. It's quite elegant and spacious and there are parking spaces available as well.
There are also lots of amenities in the resort. There is an amusement center where you can play arcade games. You can also play Billiards, Table Tennis, Foos Ball, and even use the Karaoke. As for food, there is an in-house restaurant for fine dining which is the Max's Restaurant. There is also a small store by the entrance where you can buy snacks, beverages and even souvenirs.
One notable addition to the resort if the conference center where it could accommodate large parties such as company meetings and large-scale family gatherings. It can accommodate 500 guests and is conveniently located near the private pools.
We've been avid patrons of the resort for more then 18 years and we've seen how it grew from 5 swimming pools to more than 15 and a few additions to the resorts as well. The staff is really nice and they are accommodating, very helpful and friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to visit Monte Vista Resort again if we want to go out of the city and relax. It's a nice place to stay and you are just beside Mt. Makiling which is one of the most famous mountains in the Philippines.
