Monthly Associated Content Review, October 2010

An Associated Content Writer Gives a Review of His Work

K.L. Stevens
This is October's installment of my ongoing monthly Associated Content series. October was a great month for the number of page views and my payout. Before you go on, I urge you to take a look at my progress so far. Here are my overviews from previous months:

July 2010
August 2010
September 2010

I'm currently at clout level 7 and am 91% of the way to clout number 8. Hopefully that will happen in the next few weeks and my payout will increase to $1.60 per one thousand page views from $1.55. Not a huge difference, sure, but every little but helps.

October was a record month for me. I made $12.65, all on performance, with 8,161 page views. This beat my previous best month for page views by almost 1,000. I averaged 263 page views per day. I wrote four articles in October and, to be honest with you, none of them got much traction. The highest page view article that I wrote for October was about the television show, Paranormal State. Hopefully it will get some more hits as the season goes on. Here are links to the four articles:

Chicago Bulls 2010 Prediction: 52-30
What will Ryne Sandberg do now that Mike Quade has been named Chicago Cubs manager?
Is Paranormal State's Ryan Buell a Bisexual?
Monthly Associated Content Review, September 2010

I've been lazy the last few months, so four articles were actually kind of prolific for me. I've been lazy in November also... in fact this is my first article of the month, and it's late too. Page views have slowed down a bit so far this month, mostly because Jersey Shore's season ended and there have been fewer Jersey Shore searches. That's hit a few of my more popular articles.

Alright, back to work. Next month's update will be depressing in comparison to October's unless I pick it up. As always, if you like what you're reading, please make me a favorite or subscribe. It means a lot to me!
