Monthly Associated Content Review, September 2010

An Associated Content Writer Gives a Review of His Work

K.L. Stevens
This is my third monthly installment reviewing Associated Content. September was a good month despite the fact that I didn't do much writing. One of the great things about Associated Content is that you can put in the work in some months, and then when you're too busy to do much work in a future month, you can still get the rewards. Before we go on to September's results, please take a look at my monthly results from August and July.

In September I was paid $9.49 in performance pay. I did not submit any articles for upfront payment, but I did submit two articles. One was my monthly update, and the other was this article: Chicago Bears Prediction for 2010: 10-6. It lookslike that prediction even has a chance of coming true! The Bears are 4-1 right now.

For the month I had 6,121 page views. This was lower than the 7,220 I had in August, but considering I didn't have much new material, I was happy with it. It was an average of 204 page views per day. My most popular article was MTV's Jersey Shore Dictionary: The Slang You Can't Live Without.

October has been a pretty busy month for me so far, so I don't know how many more articles I'll be able to crank out. I'd like to do at least a few each month even when I'm busy, though. My next immediate goal is to get to clout level 8, which would increase my performance pay to $1.60 an article from $1.55. The best way to do that would be to write a few more articles because of the published submission bonus Associated Content gives you. I'm 58% of the way there, so hopefully I'll get there in the next month or two.

Thanks for following along. If you like what you're reading, please share these updates, subscribe, or make me a favorite!
