Moon of the Last

A Poem

Marcus Faith
Love, we must break apart a thousand parts a time upon time.

How many

touches will fail to touch?

A skin will wrap around a stone like you.

Least of all is the power of a kiss.

Try on try on try.

Up the covers from your skin

my beast has said.

What was wrong with us was larger than

the sea.

But fiends feign to touch and lies

lovers much to each

And they whose eyes make tight as

grope

and felled

slack hearts of cork of ages lost.

You only me.

Laughter rattles

the heart.
