Morality of America Takes Another Hit

How the Lost of a Moral Compass is Leading America in the Moral Abyss

On October 13, 2007 State of California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger terminated all gender specification in California State government schools. Basically outlawing the use of traditional familiar terms such as, mom, dad, man, wife, hers, his, also paving the way to allow girls to go into boys locker rooms and bath rooms, and visa versa. With a stroke of a pin placed a region that accounts for greater than 17% of the population of the United States of America, with a estimated 30 million people, and the state's GDP is at about $1.5 trillion (as of 2004), that, if California was a country, would rank it's economy tenth largest in the world (as of 2005), legalized homosexual indoctrination, eliminated generational standards of the line of distinction and separation of male and female in the eyes of the most vulnerable minds of our society - the children. All without any day to night broadcasting from the nation's Establishment Media and without the permission of the kids parents. This is the sniper's shot of a 22 caliber that will be felt throughout the moral landscape of America. Analysts have warned that schools across the nation will be impacted by the decision, since textbook publishers must cater to their largest purchaser, which often is California, and they will be unlikely to go to the expense of having a separate edition for other states. SB 777 also seeks to normalize alternative lifestyles in California schools with special recognition for homosexuality, bisexuality, and transexuality, while offering absolutely nothing to protect the rights of those parent's children who may not share in the radical and alternative beliefs of lifestyles. An accompanying bill, AB14, prohibits state funding for any program that does not support a range of alternative sexual practices, including state-funded social services run by churches. These laws drops a bomb on the foundation of American family and moral values.

But, this is just the latest evidence of the sever degeneration of the moral compass of America, via the United States government. Webster's 1st Edition, defines morals as, "Characterized by excellence in what pertains to practice or conduct; right and proper...Dealing or concerned with establishing principles of right and wrong in behavior; ethical; as moral philosophy... Over the past 20, or so, years we have been witness to a quickening degradation of moral and ethical standards in America. From George H. Bush taking the sons and daughters of America into an un-Constitutional war against Iraq, Bill Clinton's endless trail of lies and deceit with his upfront lying to the American people - whatever "is" is - that reclassification of oral sex as not synonymous with sex or intercourse - and his treasonous relationship with Communist China, to George W. Bush with his wizardry of deceit and manipulation of the truth, his lies and masterful contortion of the truth of the real reason of the entry of American sons and daughters into a unprovoked perpetual military conflict in and occupation of two once sovereign nations ,Iraq and Afghanistan, and the beguiling manner of handling the tragic events of September 11, 2001-the real story may never be told to the American people -, and his unprecedented expansion of the federal police powers and the Executive Branch to criminalize the very liberties and freedoms that so many Americans have cherish and he has sworn to protect and the subversion of Congressional checks and balances. But, the most brazen is the end-around of the federal immigration laws by the highest seats of our government, that has even been supported, promoted, and defended by some religious organizations and powerful private groups, till today we have such a clouded picture of right and wrong that for the first time in the republic's history a majority of US citizens show no confidence in either the US Congress nor the president and are left with the choice of the better of two evils, rather than the best of the best. It is not as though the proponents of illegal immigration or "alternative" lifestyles are close to the majority of American society, which is the interesting thing, but they seem to be the loudest and the ones that are getting their way when it comes to policy makers making policies that affects the majority. Proponents of such a position can not combat one universal fact that men are not equal, once born. Social equality is a contradiction in terms, due simply to the fact that we are all individuals, and such a philosophy has never propelled a nation's prosperity. Government should view us all in an equal light, as the Federal Constitution and most, if not all, State Constitutions promise such. But, government, being made up of individuals, can not make us equal, even if it was to create a person. No matter how much of a great idea it may appear or how warm our insides may feel to say it can happen. Positions such as these in this country are not supported by right and wrong, nor righteousness, but money and the lowest level of man. American philosopher, Eric Hoffer said of equality, "Those who see their lives as spoiled and wasted crave equality and fraternity more than they do freedom. If they clamor for freedom, it is but freedom to establish equality and uniformity. The passion for equality is partly a passion for anonymity: to be one thread of the many which make up a tunic; one thread not distinguishable from the others. No one can then point us out, measure us against others and expose our inferiority." and he also said, "Where freedom is real, equality is the passion of the masses. Where equality is real, freedom is the passion of a small minority."

For all those who do not believe in conspiracy theories, consider this. Every since World War 2 there has been an orchestrated effort to remove the mother's influence from the life of the child. Tax policies make it nearly impossible for the mother to not have to leave the home and work. Thus, leaving the child lacking the parental or maternal connection and influence. After that, god and the church had to be removed from a place of guidance and sanctuary. Till today, god has been removed from the schools and open view - the grounds of the local parks, and churches, even the halls of government - and the church has been made nearly irrelevant to the lives of the average child. Question, how would someone get the world to believe the god didn't exist? How did the Pharaoh seek to remove Moses from the memory of the Egyptians? Or how has the government sought to make the Constitution irrelevant to the American people? Answer, never mention his or it's name, forbid the presentation of his or it's likeness from public view. Now America's young are left with their peers or the government to fell the void of parents and a Supreme Being to be their barometer or model compass of what is right or wrong, moral or deviant, and without the knowledge of how relevant the Constitution is to their freedoms and liberties. And if the parent is unable to parent the child, teach him and guide him, and discipline him, who will? The government. This didn't just happen. Do you think seriously that it happened by accident?

The quest for moral equilibrium has always been sought from the very establishment of this great nation. An implicit reference has always been made to a Supreme Being, from the closing line of the Articles of Confederation, "... Done at Philadelphia in the State of Pennsylvania the ninth day of July in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy-Eight, and in the Third Year of the independence of America.", the preamble of the Constitution of the united states of America, in Order to form a more perfect Union, ..., and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, ..., the repeated reference to a Supreme Being by the Founders, such as George Washington in his first inaugural address in 1789 he stated, "I dwell on this prospect with every satisfaction which an ardent love for my country can inspire, since there is no truth more thoroughly established than that there exists in the economy and course of nature an indissoluble union between virtue and happiness; between duty and advantage; between the genuine maxims of an honest and magnanimous policy and the solid rewards of public prosperity and felicity; since we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained; and since the preservation of the sacred fire of liberty and the destiny of the republican model of government are justly considered, perhaps, as deeply, as finally, staked on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people.", the fact that the Congress opens every session with a prayer, and on and on. And despite what many of us have been told, the church [god] was never to be banished from the schools or disengaged from government. The much vaunted "separation of church and state" is not mentioned anywhere in the Federal Constitution and never was the intent of the Fathers. It has to be tragically the most misunderstood phrase ever that has impacted the nation so. The first amendment to the Constitution is often referred to as it states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof . . ." But, the first ten amendments of the Federal Constitution covers restrictions or limits on the powers of the Federal government. What it can and can not do. Not what we the people can or can not do. Though interestingly the phrase of separation of church and state was in the Soviet Constriction of 1947

Ignorance is at an all time high in the republic. Where the vision of Elroy of "The Jetsons" and Will Robinson from the sci-fi series "Lost in Space" has been vaporized into high school grads unable to comprehend, read, or write a coherent sentence, and are so far removed from any understanding or knowledge of civics that they have no idea how this nation's government works, what makes up the government, nor what is their relationship to the government. To the point that they would rather watch 10 hrs of MTV, sports, or a marathon of reality TV shows, then watch anything having to do with politics or learn how taxes and laws directly affect their lives. And it's not just the kids who have been conditioned to have an acute aversion to politics, adults aren't much better. The fact that there is a national debate on whether 40 million plus paupers who entered this country illegally should be allowed to stay and given legal rights or the lack of any national debate on the legitimizing homosexuality, bisexuality, and transexuality in the eyes of our children in government schools is stark evidence of the intellectual abyss this nation has dove.

The California governor could have ordered that all graduating government schools be proficient in reading, writing, math, the sciences, and comprehension, to compete with nations such as Japan, Communist China, Russia, and India to set the bar of expectations for excellence high. Yet, he sets to indoctrinate America's young to homosexuality and deviancy. Just as the US president could have chose to set high standards and expectations for the nation, just as John Kennedy did after the Communist Soviet Union launched "sputnik" instead, he enacted "No Child Left Behind" [NCLB], which retards and punishes the progression of the productive students for the less productive, rather than raise and encourage the less productive to become more productive. But, isn't this systemic of what is happening throughout America today; a regression of values and morality, of standards, of expectations? It must be remembered, the children of most government officials, like GW Bush or Arnold Schwarzenegger, who pass these asinine policies, are in private schools learning how to become highly functional and productive citizens; totally inoculated from harm.

I remember having a discussion with a friend reminiscing of a time in the nation when men were men, women were women, honesty and a man's word was his bond, principle was something to die for, Americans were rugged individuals and loved being Americans, and unabashedly loved America. Her basic response was that "that was the way things use to be." Sadly, she's not alone in that apathetic, don't worry be happy point of view. The very values that were handed down from our elders such as, look both ways before you cross the streets, has been replaced by the hope to get hit by a car so as to sue for a big payday; sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me, has been replaced with "hate crimes" and "hate speech" where just a thought is a felony; where self-responsibility has been replaced with the inability to be at fault; and to treat others as you would want to be treated, has been transformed into do onto others before they do onto you.

The respect of America, America's historic values and ethics, have been severely damaged over the past 20 + years. We are no longer seen as the cowboy coming on the white horse, but they question or intentions and motives of our arrival. So much of our political leader's words are spoken solely for the consumption of the domestic populace, while the rest of the world looks on in bewildered fear and mistrust, because we no longer speak from the grounds of morality nor ethics as we once may have done. After the events of September 11, 2001, the United States could have ask the world for most anything, could have shaped it's image as defender of the righteous, and the world would have applauded. Yet, the United States government destroyed all of that by not just attacking a one sovereign nation without clear and irrefutable proof of provocation, but invaded and occupied two, Afghanistan and Iraq, for a period of time that has no stated end. The government of the United States has prostituted it's once vaunted principles of equal and human rights, right and wrong to the highest bidder. Whether it is on the behalf of the United Nations, to go and enforce their policies, as it is Iraq and Afghanistan, just on the basic premise of whoever can pay the most money or can offer the most in material gratification, to the point that truth and principle are just props for presentations to the masses. George Washington once warned of the abolishment of moral and religious foundation, "Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political perosperity, religion and morality are indespensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest prop of the duties of men and citizens. The mere politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and to cherish them. A volume could not trace all their connections with private and public felicity. Let it simply be asked: Where is the security for propety, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths which are the instruments of investigation in courts of justice? And let us with caution indulge in the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle... Observe good faith and justice toward all nations. Cultivate peace and harmony with all. Religion and morality enjoin this conduct; and can it be that good policy does not equally enjoin it?" Americans have always been rugged, in your face individuals by nature who possessed a huge moral stripe. We have always looked for the right and wrong in situations. That is why during the worst moralistic events were clouded and or heavily dressed in righteous cover. Today our want to be right and not offend anyone has been greatly taken advantage of and turned to our nation's great disadvantage. The feminization and political correct theology is sending generations of tried and true beliefs and values to the outhouse societal order. Americans need to rediscover our passion and love for moralism, individualism, freedom, and patriotism. There used to be a time that people looked for the moral and character makeup of a individual in their personal lives, as well as not only for the privilege of holding high office, but also to even vote. Food for thought, Joseph Stalin said of America, "America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."

Great article...I did not even know some of the stuff you mentioned. How sad. I am grieved. We need to wake up and pray.
