More Media for Ron Paul

Why Doesn't Anyone Know Who He Is?

As few of us know already, Ron Paul is a congressman from Texas, who is running for president. Yup, that's what I said, president. O you didn't know? Well your not alone. This has happened many times in the past, where it seems the best man for the job doesn't get it due to lack of coverage. Of course everyone knows Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama will be running, we've known that for some time now.

Congressman Ron Paul is not your average candidate who talks about the same old issues that come up every year around election time. In the very first interview I saw with him he was talking about abolishing the "Illegal" Federal Reserve. My goodness, did I just hear that? I thought there's no way this guy is running for president, I've got to find out more. The very next interview I found was with him talking about ending the war in Iraq. Now, this is unbelievable.

So I decide to take it a step further and do more research. I went on-line and asked people if they have heard of Ron Paul, and if they knew he'd be running for president in 2008, I even started my own blog about him. My first responses were "Who's that?". Now I know we're not minutes, or even months away from the election, we have time to spread the word and see if the media picks up on him.

I don't think they will. He is not the president that most of the government and big businesses who run the media want to see in the white house. He has his own ideas and theories and that's no good. He talks about his opinions, and tries to change the things that have gone terribly wrong in our once great country. He truly believes in America.

We may have to do this one by word of mouth. So, do some research. I'm not talking going through millions of books or talking to millions of people. I'm talking about right from where your sitting right now. Search for him on the Internet. Many people like me have been spreading the word, talking, making pages, starting discussions. The information is out there but it will not be put in our faces, this time we may have to work for it, but it is worth the little effort put forth. Ron Paul has put forth so much more for us.

Tell someone. Anyone, one family member, one friend, one person you accidentally bump into in the subway or grocery store. Perhaps if we talk about him enough, it will make it on the news in one form or another.

So I say to all, do your own research this election time. Look up Ron Paul and find out his ideas and the issues he's talking about. You'll be as surprised as I was.

I love to knit and crochet the most but I recently discovered that I also love to write about it. I like to read what people are interested in and find out more about the things I don't know.  View profile

It's pretty hard to believe there's anyone who doesn't know who Ron Paul is by now. But nothing would surprise me.
