More Movies You Should Catch in September

So here we go with part 2 of my September 2007 movie guide. If you have been anywhere near a movie theater, you'd know the prices are ridiculously high (and here I am promoting movies??). So I have an alternative for all of you movie lovers out there, instead of going to the theater, try a drive-in. It is much cheaper and you get two new movie releases for the price of 1! Not bad right? Anyway, on to the list!

The Brave One

This crime drama revolves around the life of Erica Bain who is hopelessly in love with a man who she anticipates will one day become her husband. Her life is changed forever when they are both brutally attacked one night and he ends up dead. Deciding not to be paralyzed by fear, she buys a gun and vows never to let herself become a victim again. "The Brave One" stars Jodie Foster, Terrence Howard, Naveen Andrews and Mary Steenburgen. This film is directed by Neil Jordan. "The Brave One" is to be released in theaters on September 14th.

Eastern Promises

This mystery thriller follows a London midwife who looks into the life of a teenager who died while giving birth. This eventually leads her to a cold blooded man who is involved with organized crime. She has no idea what she's getting herself into. "Eastern Promises" stars Viggo Mortensen, Naomi Watts, Vincent Cassel and Armin Mueller-Stahl. This film is directed by David Cronenberg who is also responsible for the crime drama, "A History of Violence". "Eastern Promises" is to be released in theaters on September 14th.

Mr. Woodcock

John Farley's junior high days were made a living hell thanks to his gym teacher, Mr. Woodcock. Those days are long behind him now because he's become a successful author but all is not well when he returns back home and finds his widowed mother is going to marry his tormentor, the gym teacher. "Mr. Woodcock" stars Billy Bob Thornton, Seann William Scott, Susan Sarandon, Ethan Suplee and Amy Poehler. This comedy is directed by Craig Gillespie. "Mr. Woodcock" is to be released in theaters on September 14th.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

Well the title pretty much speaks for itself here. This western drama centers around the infamous outlaw otherwise known as the one and only Jesse James. Robert Ford joins his band of cohorts and plots of the demise of Jesse James. Be sure to check out the photos attached with this article. There are pictures of Jesse James (played by Brad Pitt) and his brother Frank (played by Sam Shepard). "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" stars Brad Pitt, Mary-Louise Parker, Zooey Deschanel, Casey Affleck, Sam Rockwell, Jeremy Renner and Sam Shepard. This film is directed by Andrew Dominik. "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" with it's limited release, opens in theaters on September 21st.
