More Places for MySpace Thanksgiving Graphics

Angie Grey
MySpace pages are fun places to share your memories of high school, college and hobby or liberal arts-related stuff.

Thanksgiving graphics are nice to place on the pages, and pretty easy to find, too. I quickly built a Halloween page with some graphics dedicated to Thanksgiving, which is celebrated at the end of October, as well as the end of November. However, this page was not enough.

Free graphics are available at several places, such as Freeze, Classroom Clipart, and Webweaver. There's more places to find graphics than there are to post graphics on your myspace pages.

If you are using the Firefox browser, just load up your bookmarks toolbar with a few websites, and you can easily thumb through a few different pages, yourself. There's a lot of choices in free clip art for Thanksgiving to choose from.

The Windows browser allows a person to thumb through different tabs on the toolbar, to look through the turkeys, the cornucopias, the pilgrims, the boats, the harvest vegetables, the indians, all easily downloaded with a simple right click of the mouse, then a double-click on the save to command in the drop-down menu near the mouse click.

Thanksgiving logos and clip art decor for myspace type pages are there for all of us to use, and a search for free clip art is not difficult.

Mygirlyspace offers a tutorial on how to make your my space page look fabulous for the holiday.

You and me, we want our my space pages to look different from everyone else's my space pages, hopefully. Well, here are a few places to find some wank out clip art. Get the heads up on the wildest, coolest free clip art around by doing a little grazing through the internet meadows of clip art nirvana. I did a few test My Space pages, and added a profile, plus a photo album, only to be disappointed as to where all one could place the graphics. Sure, the profiles are nice - skulls for Halloween, ice cream for Thanksgiving, being able to change colors for your blogs is nice, also.

The Halloween applications for my space look interesting. Users are now being encouraged to play online games together in giant game rooms.

However, there just weren't that many places to place my graphics on the basic my space page, which I found to be frustrating after finding all these really cool places to upload free clip art from.

Hopefully, I'm wrong, and someone else has a great my space page, full of incredible graphics. Let's do a search, thus far, I'm finding graphics in comments, and not a lot in the graphics department.

Thus far, I'm not seeing much better with my space pages than with associated content. I could do better at fortune city or homestead or geocities, excuse me for inserting my opinion here.

However, I'm sure that there are instructions somewhere about how to really make up some daring my space pages full of graphics as well as lots of content (words).

Facebook is another place to post your graphics for thanksgiving.

There's also a web site called gather, which has been recommended as a social gathering spot for people who are interested in doing something other than posing as teenagers, twenty-somethings or retirees.

Then, for workaholics, people who do data entry or writing, there is a place called Odesk to post your profile. Linking your odesk profile to a myspace page that looks professional and fun at the same time could be useful to your career efforts.

  • The basic my space page is not much more than an electronic greeting card, as far as graphics go.
  • There are 18 different backgrounds available for my space backgrounds.
  • The my space Thanksgiving applications will be on the front page again soon.
Thus far, I have created a couple of eminently forgettable my space web pages, with interesting thanksgiving graphics in the profile and the photo book. There are lots of graphics out there, most of these are free.
