More Than a Concept

Sarah laughed at God. Why did Sarah laugh at God who is the one that can make all things possible if He so wanted. Sometimes, despite the fact that we love God, and God has been there for us, we think God can not do something. I think we occasionally forget that God is not just a concept, but He is our best friend. As I ran today, I thought about my life in relation to this verse. If I had given up when the doctor told me I may never walk right or run again, then I would not be where I am now, literally. To me, God is my best friend, my Lord, my Savior, the beginning and the end, and everything. Where people can make you lose faith in whether love exists, God restores the heart and mind after restoring the soul. I thought many things were never going to happen aside from this being able to be in shape again. My little bit of faith in God to restore me from injury has given me more faith in God to do everything else in the rest of my life. I could use a billion words to say my point, but sometimes a few simple words can get the point across. He is more than a man, and He is more than a conqueror, for He is God... God is more than a concept.

Jesus Christ is the air in my lungs,
The fire on my feet,
The wind beneath my wings,
The rock of my foundation,
And my only reason for being.
When I gave up,
God had stopped me.
Jesus the Christ no other savior comes close.
Keep God first,
Live hard, give it your all,
Keep God as your first love,
And never give up.
I shall not die except to myself
And when giving my last breath,
For God has given me a second wind
To live, forever, in paradise.
To His arms I run,
Who can tear me from Christ's arms?
To God my life will always belong.
He is more than a concept,
And more than anything else
Because He is everything.
My faith in God to give man love and reason is now realized.
