Indoor Fun in Case a Tropical Storm Visits Miami

More Miami Haunted Happenings seem to have popped out all over my town, that is, if this tropical storm brewing nearby in the Caribbean doesn't ruin it for most of us...

Hopefully that won't happen, so I thought I would share a few more haunted, howling good fun-filled places to go to should you be in my Tropical HomeTown...Just in case though, most of these celebrations are being indoors for spooky fun and surprises..

One:

Halloween on the Mile: Miracle Mile that is, and they will be celebrating with a haunted house, scavenger hunt and a costume contest...all the festivities will take place along the entire Miracle Mile between Douglas and Le Jejune Roads in Coral Gables from 5-9 P.M. Free for all

Two:

Halls of Terror Dance Party: Do you enjoy roller shaking? Than bring your skates and put on that costume to visit the Haunted House in Super Wheels, at 12265 SW 112th Avenue between 7:30 and 9:30 P.M...the $13 admission includes skates if you don't have your own...This might be a great spot to be it that storm comes with all the rain it might bring.

Three:

Rocky Horror Picture Show: The classic comedy will be poking fun at all the other Horror Films to quite and unusually dressed crowd I'm sure this all Hallows Eve...the fun takes place at the Colony Theater, 1040 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach,(Sobe) $22.00..for times call; 305-674-1040

Four :

Spooky Karaoke Night: There will be a costume contest with prizes for the most creative and scariest costumes plus there will be a lot of spooky singing taking place between 8 and 12 midnight at Dave and Busters at the Dolphin Mall, 11401 NW 12th St.... Only $3 admission

Five:

Walk of Horror: A haunted trail featuring Goblins and Ghosts, Witches and all sort of things that go bump in the night, mostly for older kids but not to be ignored for the younger set, is a not to scary haunted house for the Halloween tricksters under 9 years old...7-10 P.M. at Morningside Park, 750 NE 55th Terrace, Free

Six:

Miami Children's Museum Halloween Spooktacular: There will be Readings of Ghost Stories, Tales of terror, Haunted tours throughout the museum, a costume contest and even Carnival Games..A model search will be taking place as well for a few special kiddies. Miami Children's Museum on Watson Island on the McArthur Causeway, free for kids, $10.00 for adults.

Seven:

For adult fun, John Martins Restaurant, is holding their Halloween Celebrations, and will be having a costume contest in their haunted digs featuring music by Hard Liquor Band and $5.00 drink specials starting at 6 P.M. Bring a designated driver...J

Eight:

For more adult fun, Touch Restaurant Enchanted Forest: This party just calls itself a Sexy Halloween Party with entertainment...what type entertainment? That is the Halloween surprise. The fun begins at 7 P.M., the 31st..910 Lincoln Road Mall, Miami Beach...305-532-8003...

So there you have it....Eight more spooktacular and ghostly happening in South Florida...

There is a storm brewing off the coast of Florida...Most of these halloween celebrations take place indoors. Hopefully those mighty winds will stay off-shore

    :) I actually am scared of creatures coming out of the dark. I left a haunted house with my kids years ago. I'm sured I scared them. If I had been calm they would have been. And I'm the adult (so they say:)
