Will Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee Hurt Jesse James in a New Custody Battle?

March is turning out to be a month of drama for Monster Garage star Jesse James. The tattooed founder of West Coast Choppers has already been dealing with the drama of an alleged affair with Michelle "Bombshell" McGee and his wife, actress Sandra Bullock, moving out of their home. Now, James' ex-wife - porn star Janine Lindemulder, is going back to court in an attempt to gain more custodial rights over their daughter, Sunny.

Lindemulder was sentenced to prison for tax evasion and has most recently been confined to a halfway house. According to Fox News and TMZ, she is now trying to regain some of the custodial rights she lost over the six-year-old. James has full custody of his daughter, in large part thanks to wife Sandra Bullock's efforts. Bullock wrote a letter on his behalf telling the court that he was a wonderful father and deserved full custody of his daughter.

According to TMZ, Lindemulder has already filed paperwork in the custody case. TMZ reported that Lindemulder felt that Sandra Bullock was a stable part of Sunny's life but with the current drama going on she felt that Bullock would be out of the picture. TMZ reported that Lindemulder believes Sandra Bullock will divorce Jesse James. If that happens, Lindemulder feels that her chances at regaining custody of their daughter will be better.

Publicity surrounding Jesse James' alleged affair with tattoo model Michelle "Bombshell" McGee may help Lindemulder and hurt James. The fact that McGee sold her story of the affair to In Touch Weekly for $30,000 shows that James may be a perfect example of "being judged by the company we keep."

Photos and videos of McGee in Nazi garb and stripping will not help James' assertions that he is a good father. His choice to cheat on wife Sandra Bullock with McGee shows poor judgment and bad decision-making.

A judge in such a custody case would have to weigh whether a father who exhibits such characteristics is still a better choice over a porn star ex-con mother. It would be a tough decision, but hopefully for the sake of Sunny James, the judge will make the right choice.

Lindemuler's court date is scheduled for June 14.

    Those poor kids.

I feel sorry for anyone having to live out their personal lives in a glass house. That being said, when you know you are being watched - why do something stupid?

I have no idea what kind of parent he is. No doubt he's learning that his actions have serious repercussions. It's about time.

these things piss me off. First everyone seems to believe that all of this is fact. We don't know if James was cheating or if McGee is making it up. The media keeps forgetting about this poor little girl. I don't care if James cheated, it doesn't make him a bad father. From all accounts and having watched James on Celebrity Apprentice, I believe he is a very good father. I hope it turns out that Sandra and Jesse can work this out without the media interfering or doing something just to get a story. And I hope the little girl comes first to everyone involved.

Poor Sandra. She might now be rethinking her effort to help him get his daughter. Does being a 'dog' make you less of a fathet?
