Teacher in for a Ride
In Bloomington, Minnesota a high school teach won a contest at a theme park by staying on the ride for 20 hours. The 40 year old, Jim Salava, has won $1000 cash, free membership to the park, and a cruise for his family at the Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park. There were 10 contestants but within 3 hours there were only 3 people left. The Avatar Airbender reaches speeds of 43 MPH and 70 FT. in height the Associated Press reports.

Snake on the Loose
In Lewiston, Maine a man found a 9 feet python under the engine in his pickup truck. The man claims that he is having nightmares about the snake. He is having dreams of the snake attacking his grandson. This is the second long python found in the same area in one week. These python are illegal in Maine without a permit the Sun-Journal reports.

Ghost in the House
In Green Bay, Wisconsin Bob and Leona Ehrfurth claimed that they have been hearing noises form their home for the last two years. They said it is a sound of a loud rumbling motor. However, every time they call the city officials and acoustic experts the noise stops. They say that the noise is loud enough to keep them awake. The couple has been living in the same house for the last 42 year but the noise has just started 2 years ago. The city officials spent around $1000 to run test but found no noise or vibrations. Some neighbors confirm the noises the Green Bay Press reports.

Found Lost Treasure
In Newark, New Jersey a motorcycle that was stolen 34 years ago was finally found. The Harley Davison was originally stolen in Rhode Island in 1971. The authorities figured out where the bike was after someone has purchase it on EBay. The prior owners claim that they never knew the bike was stolen. No arrests have been made the Associated Press reports.

Statue of Liberty
In London a farmer made a maze in his field that looks like the Statue of Liberty. Tom Percy said he start to cut mazes out of maize plant five years ago to bring more attraction to the countryside. He has made numerous mazes before such as Viking ships and big clocks the Houston Chronicle reports.

    I love these weird articles! And props to the guy who stayed on the roller coaster for twenty hours! I like roller coasters but not that much!

    Snakes are only scary when you find them unexpectedly and when you have unexpectedly picked them up in your hands...I learned why hobos kick cans down the road before picking them up!
