Morgan Haley, "Bikini Bandit," Charged with Carjacking, Two Counts of Assault

Today Morgan Haley has been charged with carjacking and two counts of assault by physical fear.

Last week it was dashing New York financial advisor Robin Katz siphoning cash from a client's bank account. This week, it's Morgan Haley carjacking a woman's vehicle and attempting to rob an RV center in Southaven, Mississippi... clad in only a bikini.

Morgan Haley, better known as the 'Bikini Bandit,' made waves in DeSoto County, Mississippi at a gas station in Southaven. Her first move involved hijacking a woman's car which also happened to contain the woman's two children. She threatened her, telling her she had a weapon, and forced her to give up her car.

The woman didn't see a weapon, but decided it was best to give in to Haley's demand. After relieving the three of their vehicle, Morgan Haley sped to Southaven RV Center.

Once at the RV Center, Morgan reportedly brandished a towel supposedly containing a weapon and threatened the employees, demanding they provide her with money. The employees didn't see a real weapon, overtook her, and restrained her until police could arrive.

The investigation continues but today Morgan Haley faced her official charges of carjacking and assault. Reports say she could expect to face even more charges as the investigation continues.

We've seen some pretty stupid robbers in the news, but really, how did Morgan Haley expect she could pull off assaulting people in an outfit that wouldn't even conceal car keys, let alone a weapon? Let's not even go into the fact that she had no mask or even a cloth to conceal her face.

The answer: Police say she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol when they picked her up.

Surprise, surprise.

The 24-year-old Bikini Bandit may or may not learn her lesson this time around, but I'd expect if she sobered up and tried it again, we could expect to be seeing "Coveralls Crook" in the headlines.
