Once you walk in the doors to your left, you'll discover a group of chefs making miracles happen at the Sushi bar and on the right you see various dining booths and tables. The Asian inspired décor is lovely and very inviting. Even the bath area transports you to another place in time.
I have been a fan of sushi for sometime now, so I was excited to see how Mori House compared to the others. I can tell you that I was not disappointed! Once the plates of Sushi kept coming through, I would think to myself, "This is my favorite", then another plate would come and I'd have to say, "No, this one is my favorite"! Needless to say, there are too many wonderful options to choose just one favorite.
The sushi is very fresh, and the flavors will have you singing as you enjoy them! They have a sushi called, "Smack yo momma" that will literally make you wanna smack yo momma for not making it! The dish was actually named by one of the customers, who tasted this particular sushi combination and said, "This is so good, it makes you wanna smack yo momma"...and so the name remains.
There are so many sushi dishes to choose from that I dare say that you will find it hard to pick a favorite. Not only will you be mesmerized by the Sushi choices, the table food is just as hard to choose from. The Mori House rice is absolutely wonderful! It doesn't matter what Sushi I order, I always add an order of the rice, because it's that good.
So, the food is great. What about the dessert? One word....fabulous! Yes, the green tea, the red bean, the wine, its all so wonderful. They also have fried cheesecake and other tasty delights, so get ready to dazzle your taste buds, because you never know which treats the chef will have on a particular night.
